OUR JOURNEY IS A PROVEN TESTAMENT TO BELIEVE THAT EVERY HIGHLY ABLE MIND WITH HONEST WILL POWER MAY SHAPE SOCIETY WITH RIPPLES OF IMPACTFUL CHANGES

Our idealistically motivated volunteers devote some portion of their lives to serving others that give them inner self-satisfaction. We are engaged currently in various philanthropic services, as stated below:

Integrated Child development programme including running Balwadi schools for poor and neglected children, festival for children accompanied with cultural events, competition, sport events and quiz contests. Recently we have developed a new Auditorium Hall (very near to our Admin office) for this.

Scholarships for meritorious students, and sponsorship programme for the needy older persons

Ophthalmic care programme (Nabarun Eye Care Center) − a 10 plus bed hospital for eye-care treatment with OT room, doctor's rest room and a small optical shop. The hospital for complete eye treatment including all operations (micro, feko etc.) for 5 people at free of cost under "Mishri Devi Bachhawat" trustee on monthly basis. The optical shop (at the ground floor of the building) gives spectacles at cheapest rates to the poor eye patients.

Medical aid Centre − A Charitable Medical Clinic with pathology in subsidized rate for the rural poor

Micro credit programme by women SHGs

Tailoring training for rural women for their self-reliance − a dedicated training hall equipped by the modern sewing machines was inaugurated by Mr. H. Zimmermann (Director General of BH Miserior, Germany), Mr. AK Nayak (Judge, Kolkata High Court) and other distinguished personalities of local government administration.

Organizing annual child festival with cultural events for kids like prize distribution ceremony, quiz contests, drama, dance etc.

Organizing several meetings, cultural events from time to time, under "Nehru Yuba Kendra" in the Auditorium Hall (capable for accommodating more than 1500 people with excellent sitting arrangement) with the aim of exchanging views over many topics like education, skill development, climate change, nationalism & communal harmony among the youth.

Conducting various health care programmes for children throughout the year

Running a formal primary school for the children (Nabarun Sishu Bikas Niketan)

Running physical training including yoga, karate and other sports for the children

Running a drawing and painting school for the rural children

Awareness programme for community people on various social development issues (like drug & alcohol abuse, dowry harassment, women safety), blood donation camps (every year) under the memory of "Jhumar Mall Bachawat" trustee

Revolving fund programme for loan (micro credit) support to the poor people for their various needs

Training for capacity building of the grass root level NGO workers in association with NYK.
